About Aurelane

What does Aurelane International do?

Aurelane International is a US exporter of CPG-food products. We buy from American brands and manufacturers and ship to distributors and retailers across Africa, the Middle East, Southeast Asia, and Latin America. We also structure private-label programs with vetted manufacturers on behalf of the retailers we supply.

Who does Aurelane work with?

We work with two sides of the trade:

  • American CPG-food brands and manufacturers we buy product from.
  • Overseas distributors and retailers we ship product to.

Most of our clients are growth-stage CPG-food companies and established retail buyers.

Where is Aurelane based?

Aurelane International is headquartered in Los Angeles, California, United States, and operates across Africa, the Middle East, Southeast Asia, and Latin America.

Which regions does Aurelane cover?

Aurelane is established across the world's major CPG trade corridors. From Los Angeles to Dar es Salaam, we work across:

  • Africa
  • Middle East
  • Southeast Asia
  • Latin America

What We Do

What types of products does Aurelane focus on?

Our focus is consumer packaged goods in the food category — shelf-stable groceries, snacks, beverages, pantry staples, and adjacent CPG-food products. We work across mainstream and specialty categories where there is a clear retail buyer on the other end.

Does Aurelane provide logistics, freight, or customs services?

Aurelane is the exporter of record on shipments we handle, and we own the commercial side of the export — pricing, payment terms, Incoterms, documentation, and coordination end-to-end. We do not operate our own trucks, warehouses, or customs brokerage; we work alongside the freight forwarders, brokers, and warehouse partners that carry every load.

Does Aurelane formulate or manufacture products?

No. Aurelane does not formulate, manufacture, or warrant any product. Product formulations, ingredients, labeling, and regulatory compliance remain the responsibility of the brand or manufacturer. For private label work, we pair brands with manufacturers we trust and structure the launch — from first sample to first shipment.

How does Aurelane vet manufacturers, distributors, and retailers?

We work with manufacturers and distributors who meet our standards for quality, integrity, and fair dealing. Vetting typically includes:

  • Track record with similar categories and markets.
  • References from existing partners.
  • Review of commercial terms and payment behavior.
  • On-the-ground confirmation where appropriate.

Final commercial decisions — pricing, payment terms, contract terms — remain with the parties involved.

Working Together

How does the engagement process work?

Three steps, from conversation to shelf:

  • Source — we buy from American brands and manufacturers, vetted for quality, margin, and fit against the markets we ship into.
  • Ship — we handle the export end-to-end, with the freight, brokerage, and warehouse partners that carry every load.
  • Place — we deliver to distributors and retailers we know, and stay close to the shelf for the reorders that follow.
How long does a typical engagement take?

Timelines depend on category, region, and readiness. A focused sourcing or buyer-introduction project can move in weeks. A private label launch or new-market distribution rollout typically spans several months from first conversation to first shipment. We give a realistic timeline at the start of every engagement.

How is Aurelane compensated?

Aurelane operates on trade margin. We buy from American brands and manufacturers and resell to overseas distributors and retailers; our compensation is the spread between the two sides of the deal. Where we do incremental work outside of a straight export purchase — private-label development, market entry work — the terms of that work are set out in a separate written agreement.

Does Aurelane work with brands at any stage?

Our work fits best with brands that already have a product on the market, a clear margin structure, and the operational readiness to ship internationally. We will tell you honestly if cross-border expansion does not yet make sense — and what would need to be true for it to make sense later.

Is the information I share with Aurelane kept confidential?

Yes. Information that brands, retailers, and manufacturers share with us in connection with a potential or actual engagement is treated as confidential and used only to evaluate or carry out that engagement. Specific confidentiality terms applicable to an engagement are set out in the written agreement. You can read more in our Privacy Policy.
